I saw this on the Ligonier Ministries site:
Our 20th Annual National Conference featured John MacArthur, Al Mohler, John Piper, R.C. Sproul, and Ravi Zacharias. You can view photos of the conference and order the set on CD, MP3 CD, or DVD.
They’ve got five speakers and only one is Reformed. MacArthur’s a dispensationalist, Mohler is Southern Baptist, and Piper is a Baptist megachurch pastor. I had to look up that last guy; Zacharias is with the Christian and Missionary Alliance, so he can’t even call himself a “Reformed Baptist.”
If I want to hear people like this, I can turn my radio to the local Salem Communications outlet. I don’t want them — and neither should the people who keep Ligonier running. The Christian bookstore crowd can have their own conferences.
Also on the Ligonier site:
Ligonier Ministries is also a member of the Christian Stewardship Association (CSA), National Religious Broadcasters Association (NRB), and the Christian Booksellers Association (CBA).
The NRB and CBA are no friends of orthodoxy. Their members promote every cockamamie theology from the pretrib rapture to psychotherapy to religious feminism. We shouldn’t be co-operating with them; we should be trying to convert them.
