Sproul Jr. I've been troubled about the condition of Ligonier Ministries for a couple years now. In the past year in particular Ligonier has completely lost my support. Yet, please note: 1. To earn a Ph.D. in Theology/Biblical Studies today - a person is required to do "original research". 2. Original research in the Academy is virtually a celebration of "theological imagination". 3. We hire these Ph.D.'s to teach our future pastors in seminary. 4. Then we wonder 50 years later why the church keeps embracing heterodoxy! David Bingo!

Yet, please note:

1. To earn a Ph.D. in Theology/Biblical Studies today - a person is required to do “original research”.

3. We hire these Ph.D.’s to teach our future pastors in seminary.
